ABOUT ANNA

Anna's love for the sea began in Dubai where she was born. Her New Zealand/English parents were world champion sailors and started a sailing club there with their friends so she began sailing at an early age.

Her education began in Dubai and continued in New Zealand and England.  Anna's degree is in fine art from the Falmouth College of Art in Cornwall.  For part of the degree she studied at the Accademia Di Belle Arti in Venice.  She fell in love with the city and, after graduating, returned there to do an internship at the Peggy Guggenheim Museum.

After several years in New Zealand creating impressive landscapes in oil of the spectacular South Island scenery, Anna returned to her first love - yachting.  Since 2010 she has created a body of work focused predominantly on the sea and yachts, classic and modern, combining her deep love of sailing with a desire to express and share her passion through art.

Anna travels to regattas all over the world to present exhibitions of her paintings and, as a competent sailor, frequently joins the racing crews to draw inspiration for her work.  Her art â€‹portrays the exhilaration, drama and thrill of being on the deck of a yacht crashing through waves, the vastness of the sails and power of the ocean.

Anna's love of the sea is skilfully expressed in her work and she has consequently been commissioned to paint a number of extraordinarily beautiful yachts.

Her last exhibition was held at the Superyacht Challenge  in Antigua 2020
